My First Ever Quilting Project

I began (and finished) my first ever quilting project yesterday.

It took me all afternoon, but most of that time was spent trying to cut out the pieces of fabric. It’s a lot harder than it looks cutting out geometric shapes with perfectly straight lines. Especially when you’re using scrap fabric in weird shapes with no straight line as a starting point…

But I did it! I made a few mistakes here and there, but all in all, I’m quite pleased with it, and quite proud of myself really. 🙂
