The Yokohama Oktoberfest & Menu Plan for Oct. 17 – 21

Well, I’ve finally attended my first ever Oktoberfest… in Japan no less.

Last Saturday, Hisa and I went to the Yokohama Oktoberfest at the Yokohama Red Brick Building, and fun times were had.

Most of the action was located inside of a huge tent, with the vendors lined up along the edges, tables and chairs filling the rest of the space, and a small stage in the middle. There were even more vendors outside the tent, and more seating as well.

There was, of course, lots and lots of beer.

Mainly German beer.

There was also sausage. Lots and lots of sausage. Mmmmm.

There was even German Oom-pah music (complete with German guys in lederhosen)!  (sorry for the blurry pic)

And the people were happy.

And there was much rejoicing.
